I learned to always give my all in every performance, even if it’s only two people in the crowd, because you never know who those two people are and what they’re going through in life.

You are known as a multi-talent who sings, dances, acts, and influences millions – an all-around entertainer. Why did you decide to pursue so many different dreams all at once? It’s very ambitious.

I decided to pursue so many dreams at once because I want to be a living example that shows others that you can do anything you set your mind to if you believe in yourself.

Is there a main talent you focus on, like acting or singing? How do you manage to balance your time with all the various lanes you are in?

I have always tried to balance my focus on acting and singing equally because I look at them both as opportunities and I never want to turn down opportunities. I have always had a connection with singing and always felt comfortable with expressing myself.

Recently, I interviewed rapper Yella Beezy who is from your city – Dallas. He talked about how much the city has expanded into a fast-paced metropolis. How did you like growing up in Dallas? How is it different from anywhere else?

Growing up in Dallas was great because that’s where I learned a lot about myself and what I wanted to do. Dallas is different, from my perspective, than anywhere else because it tends to feel like everyone knows everyone and everyone wants to be the exact same. I have always felt the need to be different, and coming from a family that has always ingrained that into our minds at a young age really helped a lot. It was hard starting out trying to chase my dreams because nobody at school really understood me.

Now that you live in LA, what are some of your favorite things to do?

The best nights to me when I’m in LA is definitely when I hit up my favorite restaurant, Bob’s Big Boy. I always go late with my mom and it is definitely my thinking place.

Your latest single “Bad For Me” just dropped. Tell us about the title’s meaning. What is the song about?

Bad For Me was really a song that connected with me from the start. I interpreted the meaning of “Bad For Me” as a reminder to myself that guys in general are bad for me because they tend to get me distracted from what I came here to do and that I need to just keep focused.

How was the creative process working with producer Jimmy Duval to create “Bad For Me”?

Working with Jimmy is an absolute dream, because from the moment I first met him it was like he automatically read my mind. Jimmy is so easy to work with and he is definitely one of the funniest people I have ever met.

As an artist, who were some of your biggest influences and why?

I grew up watching Michael Jackson and he really opened my mind up to who I wanted to be and what I wanted to do for this world. I learned to always give my all in every performance, even if it’s only two people in the crowd, because you never know who those two people are and what they’re going through in life. I also admired that he helped so many others and that he really tried to make this world a better place. That has always been my biggest goal in life, to help as many people as possible.

How would you describe your style when it comes to fashion?

My style is definitely unique. Fun fact a lot of people don’t know about me is that I create a lot of my own clothing, and if I don’t make it, I make sure it’s customized because I don’t want to see someone walking down the street wearing the exact same thing as me. Everyday I have a different idea of what I want to dress like. That’s the beauty of fashion. You can express yourself any way you want.
