To commemorate man’s ascension beyond our atmosphere, to one day land on a planet that I used to stare at as a child.

Richard Mille x Pharrell Williams

He’s been a tastemaking trendsetter since his auspicious arrival in music, fashion, visuals and all things forward thinking, upwardly mobile, and culturally vibrant. With song writing credits dating back to his ’92 penning of “Rump Shaker” for mentor Teddy Riley’s Wreckx-n-Effect, Pharrell Williams has proven a godsend for go-to stream anthems and gotta-have street glam ever since his hip-hop genesis.

Vascilating somewhere between creative genius and damn-near-deity in product design and art direction, Pharrell’s current collaboration with Swiss luxury watchmaking brand Richard Mille produces the RM 52-05 Manual Winding Turbillon, a timepiece so dime piece not even a side-piece could find peace without it, at least not in this day in time.

The watch soulmates with a gorgeous galaxy theme in keeping with the filmmaking music producer’s futuristic fixation on outer space, executing the idea with an astronaut gazing down to earth on its dial. This time-telling art work is priced at $969k, so if you cop one in Bev Hills where sales tax is 9.5%, you’re looking at just over a million dollars for you select few who so choose to brand-new with fund flaunting tribal trophies ($1,061,055 to be exact). Don’trip like a Gaia Hype tee, my G. You got it.
